Dr. Devries addressed physicians for Rush Medical Center’s Cardiology Grand Rounds.
A panel including Dr. Stephen Devries, Dr. Adi Haramati (Georgetown University) and Dr. David Eisenberg (Harvard University and Samueli Institute) presented a program entitled “Experiential Integrative Approaches to Heart Health.”
The program included an update on the science of nutrition and mind/body connections, a guided meditation with audience biofeedback monitoring, and a food preparation demo.
Dr. Devries gave a Grand Rounds presentation on “Interventional Cardiology Delivered with a Fork” at Advocate Christ Medical Center.
The Gaples Institute gave a talk entitled “The Path to Heart Health is Through Your Mouth” at a Chicago Dental Society conference attended by 30,000 dental professionals.
